Allie Bug

Allie was born on Jan. 25, 2007 with a heart defect known as Pulmonary Atresia. "In pulmonary atresia, no pulmonary valve exists. Consequently, blood can't flow from the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery and on to the lungs" (amhrt.org).

She had the first of three surgeries on Jan. 30, 2007. The doctors put a shunt in my heart to help with blood flow. On April 5, 2007, she had her first open heart surgery. She had a second open heart surgery on March 11, 2008. God is so good. God has done a lot of work in Allie's life and we are very thankful. We praise God for all He has done and thank Him daily for allowing Allie to be a part of our lives.
